In 2016, Nitin Subramanian along with a group of juniors from Monta Vista High School wanted to create a program that strived to help children in middle school who struggled with math. After consulting with administration, Path to Math was born, and after a lot of sessions, they quickly found out that everyone had other commitments and couldn’t find time to get the extra help. With that in mind, Nitin set out to find a solution to provide top quality tutoring to students anywhere, anytime.
In 2018, InstaTutors was founded on the belief that students around the world, from any background, deserve a quality, top-tier tutoring experience. We aim to spread knowledge and practical help to students who need it. We hope to grow our organization such that InstaTutors becomes a reliable source for help in all subjects, for students of all ages.
InstaTutors currently has expanded their outreach into four states, with over a dozen subjects offered to students, and 100+ students. With over 25 qualified and motivated high school students, with a desire to change the world, InstaTutors is continuing to impact communities nationwide.
In October 2018, InstaTutors' services were halted, and the team prepared for a relaunch. A lot of thought was given to improving the platform, and InstaTutors officially relaunched on November 1st, 2018. Just as Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
